In a bid to improve its supply chain management, distributor of durable goods, seasonal products and multimedia NewCo Europe BV, has undergone a transformation of its warehouse activities.
By installing Radio Beacon WMS (warehouse management system), the company hopes that its customer service can benefit from improved distribution and asset tracking.
Due to NewCo priding itself on next-day delivery as well as dealing with perishable goods, its supply chain management solutions must be at their optimum level so that deadlines are effectively met.
Mark Simons, logistic manager at NewCo Europe BV, remarked: "Since installing Radio Beacon WMS, we have noticed many improvements in our warehouse processes."
"We are able to keep our logistics commitments to our customers, which keeps our customers happy, and the system runs our warehouse at peak efficiency," he continued.
NewCo now hopes to benefit from cost reductions and improved operational procedures as a result of implementing the new WMS software solution.
Also, asset tracking will improve due to real-time analysis of stock levels that will allow staff at the company to be aware of the location of goods at all points on the supply chain.
