Supply chain management software firm TECSYS and Lawson Software, a provider of enterprise software solutions, have announced a partnership.
The alliance will meet the warehouse, distribution and facility management needs of the hospital network in the US.
Lawson will help clients gain access to core supply chain management and procurement solutions while TECSYS will help manage distribution centres and warehouses for large integrated delivery networks (IDNs) that align local healthcare facilities and manage them with one governing board.
Peter Brereton, president of TECSYS, said "Core to our go-to-market strategy is the healthcare industry, in particular the IDN marketplace of more than 200 groups of healthcare entities in North America.
"I look forward to our initiatives together as we continue to deliver solutions that are transforming the landscape of how healthcare services and products are being delivered."
Founded in 1983, TECSYS Inc has developed a range of enterprise performance, distribution, warehouse, transportation and e-commerce management solutions.
