It has been announced that the procurement director of Hewlett-Packard will speak at this year's iSuppli European Briefing conference.
Patrick Scholler has been unveiled as a guest speakers at the iSuppli meeting, entitled European Briefing Series 2008: Industries, Inflections, Intelligence, and is expected to be discussing purchasing and outsourcing.
The event, which will be held in Lisbon during April, will see Mr Scholler speak on its opening day and his appearance has been welcomed by iSuppli Daniel Hawtof.
"[Mr] Scholler has gathered a wealth of knowledge and insight on how to avoid the most significant mistakes that procurement and outsourcing executives can make-and how to employ best practices in purchasing and supply chain management," he said.
It is noted that the Hewlett-Packard procurement director has 27 years of experience in the industry with a large part of this in the field of strategic sourcing.
The individual days of the conference are named Is My Organization the Best of the Best?, Do You See What I See? and Is There a Universal Device?.
