A company dealing in supply management applications and services has announced that it has secured a new contract with the Coca-Cola Bottling Company (CCBC).
According to Fox Business, CCBC has selected ePlus Systems to provide its Procure+ eprocurement software as well as its Content+ supplier portal in a bid to improve upon existing supply management processes.
Commenting on the new deal, director of accounts payable at CCBC Marcia Golden said that the decision had been made to select ePlus due to its ability to supply specific eprocurement systems that would address current supplier enablement issues.
"We were looking for a dynamic and comprehensive ordering solution that we could deploy enterprise-wide," she said.
It is thought that CCBC could utilise any number of ePlus software solutions, such as supplier enablement, catalog content management and spend analytics.
ePlus was established in 1990 and now has over 625 associates in more than 30 locations. The company claims to serve more than 2,500 customers in both the private and public sectors.
