A software suite aimed at ensuring "best-in-class" procurement results has been selected by a relationship managment firm, it was reported today.
The Convergys Corporation is to implement the package in an attempt to maximise buying power and improve procure-to-pay systems across its global operations.
Convergys also said it wants the suite to help introduce stronger controls internally for the firm, which has clients in over 70 countries.
The growing purchasing needs of the company will be streamlined using a single tool from Ketera, it added.
"Ketera's suite of spend management solutions will help Convergys standardise our procurement best practices on a single, web-based solution that's easy to use and requires no training," said Frank Dimon, Convergys' vice-president of corporate finance.
Convergys has its headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio and employs more than 75,000 employees.
It is also listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
