The Commonwealth of Kentucky in the United States is making use of eprocurement to find a contractor for its Burnside park development, according to reports.
Business First of Louisville reports that the Kentucky Department of Parks has reissued a request for contractor proposals regarding a lodge, restaurant and conference centre planned for General Burnside State Park.
The contractor would be required to build and operate the facilities at the location, with eprocurement offering vendor registration, bidding opportunities, recent awards and online bidding 24-hours a day.
According to Business First, the lodge must have 50 rooms, a swimming pool and a gift shop as well as "other state park features".
The park, which is located on Lake Cumberland, was established in February 1958, according to the department of parks website.
It is named after a union army general from the 1860s who established an army depot nearby.
