A new seminar focusing on the procurement of intellectual property (IP) rights has been conducted and made available via DVD by the Research and Markets company, it has been announced.
Anthony Handal, from Brown Rudnick Berlack Israels, is among the experts featured on in the seminar, which is targeted at executives and legal professionals aiming to further their appreciation of issues surround IP procurement.
How to effectively enforce an IP agreement and how best to establish a corporate strategy in relation to procuring and maintaining IP rights will be among the topics touched on during the seminar, its creators explain.
Outlining the expertise of Mr Handal, a statement from Research and Markets read: "Anthony Handal focuses his practice on intellectual property trial work, licensing and related corporate matters, as well as the enforcement and procurement of IP rights in the US, Europe and Asia.
"With over 30 years of experience, Mr Handal has served as lead counsel in over 180 intellectual property lawsuits including jury trials, bench trials and overseas litigation, and has obtained or enforced over 700 patents."
It was reported recently that the author of the Harry Potter book series JK Rowling and Warner Brothers are to sue an American publisher over an alleged breach of their IP rights.
