A forthcoming UK event is set to bring together more than 600 experts from the eprocurement and electronic supply industry and give advice about the sector, it has been announced.
The eWorld Purchasing & Supply conference is scheduled for September 25th and 26th at the New Connaught Rooms in London's Covent Garden and is to include seminars and keynote sessions from leading figures.
In addition, it was revealed yesterday that technical consultant the Aberdeen Group will provide opening speeches for both days of the event, discussing supply management and the effects of procurement automation.
President Stephen Gold is also expected to deliver a speech on the role procurement now plays in the personnel structure of a company and how procurement officers are becoming an increasingly common position in various businesses.
Yesterday, Bloomberg revealed that supply problems had led to a delay for the debut of Boeing's 787 Dreamliner.
